However, stand-up comedy is not in his plans, at least not in the near future.
Rumors of the former quarterback embarking on a career in stand-up have been swirling since it was reported by Popculture.com. While Brady can be a pretty funny guy, TMZ says that’s not the case.
Brady, though, is said to be in talks with Netflix to take part in a roast special titled “The Greatest Roast of All Time.” Sidenote: this seems like the perfect stage for Rob Gronkowski to poke some fun at his former teammate, but we’ll see…
For the time being, Brady is looking to spend time with his family. It’s even been claimed that he’s keen on getting his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen back following their divorce last year.
Brady’s decision to unretire shortly after calling it quits is reported to have played a major role in the split, which affected his play throughout the 2023 season. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed to sneak into the playoffs, they exited at the earliest opportunity, losing to the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round.
Brady announced his retirement in an Instagram video on February 1. He will begin working as a color commentator for FOX in 2024, having signed a 10-year deal worth $375 million with the network in 2022.
