Truth behind Harry's 'escape place' away from Meghan That Sparked break-up fears
Rumours were swirling that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were having marriage issues based on claims Prince Harry had a secret hotel room where he went without here - but it has been debunked
The truth behind the claim that Prince Harry has a secret hotel room where he goes to escape wife Meghan Markle has been revealed
Rumours recently swirled of Harry having a private hotel room permanently booked somewhere near the couple's Montecito, California, home where he would head alone.
Further dubious claims added that Harry – who has two children with Meghan Markle – would also allegedly run to his “escape place” at San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles.
The rumours even sparked fears that the couple were having marriage issues and could be on the verge of a break-up.
Rumours had been swirling over the future of the couple
However, a representative for the couple fired back when asked by the Daily Star if there was any truth in the rumour.
They said: “This is absolutely not true.”
It is rare for Meghan and Harry's team to comments in the media on rumours, but they chose to do so on this occasion.
The pair actually celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary last week, although it was said to be a private celebration as no pictures or social media posts were made public to mark the occasion.
The rumours were quickly dispelled by the couple's team
The lack of publicity could be down to a recent report that the couple enjoy more popularity when they keep a low profile.
Earlier this week a new poll in the United States showed Meghan Markle's popularity has risen to positive territory for the first time since January.
She is now polling with the US public at plus five.
And Prince Harry has risen seven points for a total of +15.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, by comparison, have ratings of +34 and +37 respectively in America.
